The sushi and Hibachi was splendid. The staff was knowledgeable about their recipes and it showed. They've been through many chefs to craft a perfect menu. The dancing rolls were amazing (and thats coming from a guy who doesn't like sushi)!

The food is excellent, and the owners/chefs are delightful folks. Their 2-for-1 lunch special is great. However, I have noticed that they are often short-staffed in servers during peak hours. This results in their servers seeming stressed and absent-minded. Don't go if you are on a strict timeframe, but otherwise an excellent establishment.

Smells like pee inside. Use to be better. Still my favorite.

Most delicious sushi I've ever had. This restaurant is actually a 6 out of 5 stars. Phenomenal service, stellar food, and pristine dining conditions are to be expected. I highly recommend eating here even if you're on a budget (they have an excellent selection of lunch and happy hour specials).

The atmosphere was really good. The udon that I had was a bit on the salty side, but still good. However, it took an extremely long time to get our food, and mine came out about 10 minutes later than everyone else at my table.Over all, I would recommend as long as you're not in a hurry.

Don't order here from waitr they don't make it the same. Just eat in or eat at one of the other sushi places. This one isn't special and there is always a problem on waitr.

Poor food quality, the buffet was not fresh at all, table stink like and old towel, the waiter was the only good thing in the restaurant really polite, the whole place had a weird smell, will definitely not come back.

Really good food

This business changed names. The sushi is okay. Ordered a basic california roll and they put crab in it. The other sushi rolls were fine but just didn't meet my expectations. Everything just seems mediocre, but the staff are extremely friendly and tentative.

Never disappointed with a dining experience at this hidden gem of a restaurant. Service is nice and personable, low lights, quiet atmosphere, spectacular food and presentation for price. Miso soup, appetizers, hibachi, and all rolls I have had were great. Cowboy roll is a new favorite and comes with a thin slice of seared and peppered steak on top.

The server was absolutely rude!! Food was great but server followed me outside and YELLED AT ME AND complained about the tip very sarcastically! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

The udon was good and the service was nice, would visit again.

The ginger salad appetizer was great but I asked for no rice in my rolls and they definitely had rice. Disappointed.

The sushi is the best thing this place has to offer, recommend the Tornado roll. The waitress was very, I won't say rude but stoic and rough. She needs improvement. The entrees and salads were decent just not the best. The atmosphere is lacking as is so much here but but as so much here it has potential.

Fuji plum wine was amazing. Sushi fanominal. Employees spectacular.

Our server said it was her first day but she did great! We tried 3 sushi rolls and each one was amazing! Prices are good! My only complaint is the beef fried rice: it was not good at all to me. Overall, it was good and we'll definitely be back!

Been here many times. Today horrible. It started nice then the entries all came out cold. Not warm .COLD. The manager didn't help either. Terrible and unacceptable. The server was nice but that make up for refrigerator temperature food.

Excellent, never really disappointed there

Miyako is a special place to me, with consistently attentive service and tasty food, even sans gluten options. I recommend the "tasty treat" appetizer - a cool refreshing 5 piece arrangement of shrimp, egg custard, avocado, and cucumber, wrapped in rice paper and topped with a sweet mayo, that isn't over sweet at all. Or their squid salad on a hot day... Yum! Even my children love their squid salad, so this is a must-try.

Seriously not happy with my food!! Had to wait almost 3 hours to get my food from waitr because the restaurant put a later time on my order, when I got my food it was really cold and not to mention very little food for the amount of money I paid for it!!! Very seriously doubt I will be ordering from them again!!!

Loved the crab lagoon!

I love the food here but the service is just wow! I had rice in my glass of water and when she brought our food i told her i sucked the rice through my straw and she really said "thats funny. We dont keep our straws in the kitchen". Then for some reason they do not bring all of your change when you pay.

I wasnt going to do it but I'm afraid i have to...Last night my wife and i went to Miyako and what a fiasco. I will start by saying the fried kinoko was great...the rest of the experience was a joke. The squid salad was dry...the green tea was matcha powder dumped in hot water....the grilled calamari tasted like old gym shoes. My wife never got her roll as the cooks were too busy worrying about Waitr orders. I spoke with the senior lead server...as no owner or manager was present, voicing my concerns. So i tried to get my concerns addressed....needless to say we wont be returning...nor can i recommend this restaurant to anyone....just a piss poor experience.

The service was delightful, the food had flaws

Very low quality of food, specifically the sushi. We didn’t try anything else on the menu. Below average service as well. I will also say that I am never this critical on a restaurant with food or service, regularly tipping a minimum 20% and do not go bashing food quality often.

Pushy staff always trying to up sell items I don't want. And long wait times for only 3 tables at the time not what it use to be .

Miyako’s has some of the best sushi in town and some of the best dishes. In recent times some of the wait staff hasn’t been the best but the restaurants food still stands the rest of time. I would choose this particular Japanese restaurant over any other one in town as of today

Food is great but the service was lacking.

Was charged for something I did not order and was not fixed. The food was good. Waitress was good. Please be more fair to your customers and you will do better.

I ordered a Vegetarian Bento Box from this place not too long back but all I was given was Veggie fried rice, so I tried to pay for only the fried rice but instead they charged me for the full Bento that I didn't even receive, now it's not even showing that bento on the menu. Very bad experience. It was my first time ordering from them too.

This is the best place for sushi in the area. It's always consistently great! The wait staff is always friendly. It's a small restaurant but you have to give it a try!

Appetizers were very good . The 2 rolls we had were not great : flavor or presentation

We really enjoyed the food here, and I'd love to rate it higher, but the service wasn't great. Our server didn't know many of the menu items, forgot our order twice, and service from the kitchen was slow, despite it not being very busy. We'll definitely try it again, because the food (once it arrived) was good enough to go back. Hopefully it was an "off" night, and we'll be able to rate higher in the future.

Fantastic sea bass (best we have ever had), wonderful sushi, love the hibachi steak!!!
